Who am I? About Me

Few Words About Myself Nice to Meet You

It all started when I was a teenager and my mother handed me a Russian Zenit TTL to play with. To be honest, the photos were terrible, and the processing was a struggle, but the seed was planted. After years of using simple compact cameras, I bought my first DSLR—an Olympus E-300—in 2005, and finally began experimenting in earnest.

My journey took a serious turn in 2012. Inspired by my own wedding, I dove deep into the world of professional photography. I gained invaluable experience second-shooting with my friend Ben Pollard before running my own wedding photography business. However, I eventually realized that balancing a day job with the demands of wedding photography left me with little to no time for my family. I made the hard choice to step away from weddings to prioritize my home life.

But the camera didn’t stay away for long. In 2022, I rediscovered my passion—this time in the quiet of nature. I fell in love with landscape and woodland photography, finding joy in long exposures, drone work, and a return to film. Photography pushes me to explore places I would never otherwise visit. For me, the process isn’t complete until I hold a print in my hands; printing is the true finish line of my art.
