What shots should you capture at an event?
Pick the type of event and the moments it includes, such as speeches, cake cutting or awards. You get a grouped shot list with each shot marked must or nice, which you can tick off as you shoot.
How the tool works
The list starts with shots that suit the kind of event, then adds a group for each moment you switch on. Every shot is marked must or nice. Must-haves are the pictures most clients would expect from that moment, and nice shots are extras for when there is time. Use the filter to show must-haves only when you are short of time.
Agree the real must-have shots with the client in advance, especially group photos and named people, and add them to the list. This list is a starting point and is not tailored to a particular venue or client.
Check with the organiser about photographing children and any areas where photography is not allowed. Tick shots as you capture them and the counter shows your progress. Copy list gives you plain text with ticked shots marked.
Questions
What do the must and nice labels mean?
Must marks the shots most clients would expect from that moment. Nice marks extras for when time allows. They are general suggestions, not rules.
Can I add my own shots?
Not in the tool. Copy the list into your notes and add the shots your client asks for.
Is anything saved?
No. Nothing is stored or sent, so copy the list before you close the page.
